About The Position
A.G. Rhodes is seeking a Part-time Speech Therapist SLP Care Partner for their Cobb community in Marietta, Georgia. This role is within a new state-of-the-art Memory Care Village with all private rooms. The community was recently awarded "2026 Best Nursing Home in Cobb County" by Best of Cobb - Cobb Life Magazine. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program.
- Speech Language Pathologist License in good standing and able to practice in the state of Georgia.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent team player, able to work harmoniously across multiple disciplines.
- Ability to effectively interact with elders and their families.
- Compassionate and empathetic towards elders, especially those who have communication difficulties.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in Skilled Nursing community preferred.
- Experience working in a person directed care environment preferred.
- Experience working with persons living with dementia.
- Experience with PointClickCare electronic records system preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders accurately.
- Effectively interact with elders and their families.
- Work harmoniously across multiple disciplines as an excellent team player.
