About The Position

Greenville Post Acute (GPA) is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for PRN opportunities. The SLP will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, collaborating with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality, individualized care.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)
• Must meet all state and federal requirements for clinical practice
• Maintain continuing education and good standing with the State Board
• Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of referral
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy for communication, cognition, and dysphagia
• Supervise SLP Assistants (if applicable) in accordance with state practice guidelines
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment as needed
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Participate in care plans, rehab meetings, and discharge planning
• Provide staff education and in-service training
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor (including CFY support if applicable)
