About The Position

Nationwide Opportunities | Part-Time, and PRN Available JOIN A TEAM THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE Guardian Angel Home Care is seeking compassionate, motivated, and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our growing team nationwide. We are looking for clinicians who are passionate about helping patients improve communication, cognitive function, swallowing abilities, and overall quality of life while receiving care in the comfort of their homes. As a Speech Therapist, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, patients, and caregivers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence and successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Home health experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs.
  • Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with professional standards and agency policies.
  • Assess and treat communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing impairments.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
  • Participate in case conferences and care planning meetings as needed.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and agency regulations.
