About The Position
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for Acute Care. This role involves assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs to improve speech, swallowing, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The Speech Pathologist will also provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers, and supervise and assume responsibility for care provided.

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve speech, swallowing, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
- Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided.
