About The Position
Join our Rehabilitation Team at ChristianaCare, a nationally recognized hospital, as a per diem Speech Language Pathologist. This role involves assessing and treating adults with communication and swallowing disorders in inpatient acute and rehabilitation settings. We emphasize patient-family centered care and utilize a dynamic interdisciplinary/trans-disciplinary team approach. This position requires a minimum of two weekend days per month, with availability for additional weekday and/or weekend shifts being highly desired.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CF Certification
- CPR Certification
Nice To Haves
- Acute care experience preferred
- Availability to work one to three additional weekday shifts per week and/or weekend shifts as available is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment programs to include family specific goals and time frames
