About The Position

The district is hiring two temporary, contracted Speech Pathologists to work through the end of the school year (June 9) to cover maternity leaves. Both positions will likely become probationary for the 2027/2028 school year. The work calendar is 185 workdays. New employees are paid on an 11-month schedule; returning employees are paid on a 12-month schedule.

Salary placement is based on educational units and years of full-time teaching experience, with maximum placement at Step 11 for employees with 10 years of teaching experience. Full-time employees receive family medical coverage, employee life and vision coverage, and employee or family dental coverage, depending on the selected provider. Part-time employees receive benefits proportional to their work percentage.

Requirements

• Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential — Language, Speech & Hearing, or Clinical or Rehabilitative Services, or equivalent.
• Submit a CTC screenshot of a valid California Speech-Language Credential.
• Submit a resume.
• Submit three letters of recommendation; at least two references must be from the last 12 months of employment.
• Submit transcripts.
• Submit a cover letter or letter of intent.
