About The Position

Children's Therapy Services, established in 2002 and locally owned with locations in Overland Park and Mission, Kansas, provides a wide range of therapeutic services including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, developmental and behavioral therapy, sensory therapy, social skills instruction, early reading skills, dyslexia intervention, and parent education to over 10,000 families in the Kansas City Metro. They now offer Autism and ADHD evaluations. The clinic prides itself on a highly educated and experienced team with diverse clinical backgrounds. Evaluations and therapies are conducted in family-friendly, clinic-based settings. Their mission is to maximize children's potential through individualized, family-centered education and intervention, emphasizing family participation in all therapies to support child growth beyond scheduled sessions.

Requirements

• CCC, Strong CF considered
• Experience with school-age speech and language disorders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Confident interacting with training families
• Good energy, well organized, quick understanding of technology and self-starter
• Able to work with a team

Responsibilities

• Develop therapy and treatment plans for speech disorders
• Establish treatment goals and milestones with patients
• Document and store treatment plans and progress reports
• Update patient progress to relevant parties
