Requirements

MS or MA degree in speech-language pathology
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Current State of Minnesota Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology license
Experience evaluating and treating adults with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing impairments

Nice To Haves

Experience working within senior housing is preferred

Responsibilities

Evaluating and treating residents in the Short-Term Rehabilitation Center with communication disorders and/or impairments including dysphagia
Participating as a member of an interdisciplinary team
Establishing augmentative/alternative communication systems for patients
