Requirements
- Masters in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in acute care speech-language pathology, barium swallow studies, and speech/swallowing evaluations.
- BLS, required.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service and have consistent professional etiquette.
- Assess, diagnosis, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Work as part of a collaborative team in a health care setting.
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services.
- Maintain department QI program and statistics and participates in house wide initiatives.
- Provide speech therapy modalities to all age groups, pediatric through geriatrics.
- Investigates and reports concerns timely and informs Chief Nursing Officer.
