About The Position
Amedisys is hiring a PRN speech pathologist to provide home health services. The speech pathologist works to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults. The role also provides aural rehabilitation for people who are deaf or hard of hearing and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for people with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders. Other duties may be assigned. Compensation is $73.00–$82.00, with pay varying by location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Completed graduate coursework and clinical practicum at a college or university whose program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).
- Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities
