Requirements

  • MS: Speech Pathology (Required)
  • CCC-SLP - Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology - American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASLHA)American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASLHA)
  • SLP - Speech-Language Pathologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)New York State Education Department (NYSED)
  • M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Speech-Language Pathology experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Patient Evaluation & Development. Meet the patient's goals and needs by providing quality, evidence based care; assess, develop and implement an individualized treatment plan
  • Patient Care. Help patient accomplish treatment plan and accept therapeutic devices/recommendations; instruct, encourage and assist patients in performing daily-living activities and in using assistive and supportive devices
  • Leadership. Develop the speech-language therapy staff; provide information, develop and conduct in-service training programs
