About The Position

Our Northern NSW team has been delivering life-changing support to NDIS participants, and now we’re looking for a passionate and motivated Speech Pathologist to join us. At Ability Action Australia, you’ll help people achieve their goals in the environments where it matters most—home, school, telehealth and the wider community. We are currently inviting Speech Pathologists to join our growing team in the Northern NSW region. This is your opportunity to deliver life-changing support to NDIS participants across Ballina, Byron Bay, and Mullumbimby. Requirements

  • A degree in Speech Pathology and Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • A proactive, growth-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for the disability sector.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently within the community.
  • Current Australian Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload and delivering therapy services in a timely, impactful way across home, school, and community settings.
  • Using clinical observations and standardised assessments to inform therapy goals and deliver interventions that improve quality of life.
  • Working alongside a supportive team of allied health professionals to provide holistic care.
  • Providing mentorship and clinical supervision to junior clinicians (for experienced clinicians).
  • Ensuring all services meet current NDIS requirements and standards.
