About The Position

To provide quality goal directed Speech and Language Pathology (SLP) evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning to pediatric patients in a variety of age groups with cognitive, communication and/or swallowing disabilities. Pediatric oral motor/feeding experience is required.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, Communication Disorders or related areas from an accredited college or university.
• Pediatric oral motor/feeding experience is required.
• Current state of New Jersey license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current BLS certification.
• May be a CFY candidate.

Nice To Haves

• Current certification by the American Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ASHA) in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality goal directed Speech and Language Pathology (SLP) evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning to pediatric patients in a variety of age groups with cognitive, communication and/or swallowing disabilities.
• Perform work accurately and give attention to details.
• Use effective critical thinking and analytical skills.

• Communicate and interact with the health-system, patients, family members, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Function competently in a changing work environment related to changing patient needs.
