About The Position

Performs speech therapy evaluation and treatment in both outpatient and acute inpatient settings. Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Language Pathology.
• TX State Speech Therapy License required, as well as Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a positive, courteous attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech therapy assessment, once physician's orders are received
• Provide written evaluation and plan of care to the physician
• Reassess patient monthly to update plan of care
• Supervision of speech therapy assistant and other support staff
• Must continuously improve SLP knowledge & skill
