Mercy Hospital Ada, Oklahoma, is a 159-bed, acute-care facility serving Pontotoc County and the surrounding areas in south-central Oklahoma. Our hospital provides vital health care services to the Ada and surrounding communities.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology Required
• Licensed Speech Therapist; Current licensure with State Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse populations.
• Performs comprehensive assessments, develops individualized plans of care, and implements evidence-based interventions in collaboration with patients and their families.
• Documents and communicates ongoing progress, with treatment plans adjusted as needed.
• Provides education and counseling to support patient outcomes.
• Assists with discharge planning.
• Supervises clinical fellows, students, and support personnel in accordance with professional standards.
