We are housed in a brand-new outpatient gym where our rehab team is committed to community outreach including hosting a monthly stroke support group. We balance new techniques and specialties including dry needling, certified hand therapy, and FEES, with a personalized, community-focused approach to healthcare.

Requirements

A completed a Master’s degree
Current VA Speech-Language Pathologist license.
Completes obligatory hospital in-services and continuing education for licensure.
BLS required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) granted by ASHA preferred.

Responsibilities

Selects appropriate activities suited to patient’s physical, mental, and social abilities and adapts program in response to patient and/or family goals.
Schedules patients, or assists secretary with, in relation to customer service policy.
Supervises students as needed.
Documents patient treatments daily, submit quarterly status reports, and completes D/C summaries.
Demonstrates proper respect and attitude towards customers and co-workers. Displays courtesy, professionalism and sound communication skills.
