About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Senior Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to create meaningful, lasting change in people's lives by working alongside care teams, families, and support systems to implement evidence-based interventions in real-world settings. The position is ideal for practitioners interested in applying their assessment, intervention design, and therapeutic skills more broadly and systemically. There are also opportunities to engage in training delivery, behavior support, and organizational development. Requirements

  • A degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Certified practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or the ability to obtain these prior to commencement).
  • Experience in working with people with intellectual disabilities and/or experiences of trauma who have complex needs.
  • Experience in conducting Communication assessments, treatment planning and intervention for children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of presentations.
  • Experience in Mealtime Management.
  • Experience in supervision and mentoring of staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and managing clients with a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Participation in complex multidisciplinary assessments.
  • Providing client support, including clinic or home-based sessions.
  • Training and resource development.
  • Delivering speech pathology services in Victoria.
  • Providing supervision and support to the speech pathology team (for the Senior Practitioner position).
  • Regular travel around the Melbourne metro area and occasional regional travel.
  • Opportunities for interstate/remote area projects.
  • Option to work from home for administration/report writing.
