About The Position

Speech language pathologists evaluate patients referred for appraisal of speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia, carry out therapy, as appropriate, communicate results to patients, parents and other professionals, and participate in various Hospital or Community related activities. Evaluates, plans and implements treatment programs for referred patients according to accepted principles and practices of Speech Therapy. Supports all programs in the Rehabilitation Continuum. Maintains working relationships with Hospital leadership, physicians, nurses, case managers, social workers, allied health professionals, ancillary services, and hospital support personnel.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree
  • PA Speech Language Pathologist License
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology within 90 days of hire
  • Computer Skills to include use and navigation
  • Dictation and Transcription Skills
  • Excellent Communications Skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Multi Line Telephone Operational Skills

  • At least 1yr of experience preferred

Responsibilities
