About The Position

This position, a Speech Pathologist Assistant, will work with a Speech Therapist as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based best practice and therapy techniques for children aged birth to 5 years with various communication and/or oral-motor/feeding disorders at the Kids First clinic. Travel to other Kids First locations may be required.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Program
• Hold an Arkansas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant or be eligible to obtain licenses within 1 month from date of hire
• Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 or have an approved medical or religious exemption on file with our Student & Employee Health Services dept.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Speech Therapist as a member of an interdisciplinary team
• Provide evidence-based best practice and therapy techniques for the birth to 5 population with a variety of communication and/or oral-motor/feeding disorders at Kids First clinic
