About The Position

This role involves providing one-on-one speech therapy services to children. The assistant will incorporate play-based, functional, and engaging interventions into therapy sessions. Key responsibilities include regular communication with caregivers and the child's care team, maintaining detailed and compliant documentation, and coordinating scheduling to ensure continuity of care with families and the administrative team.

Requirements

• Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology assistant license
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience with kids
• Ability to deliver therapy services effectively in a child’s natural environment
• Strong time management, organization, and independent clinical decision-making skills
• Clear, professional communication with families and care teams

Nice To Haves

• One (1) or more years of experience in early intervention, home-based, or community-based pediatric settings
• Experience working with diverse diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder and developmental delays
• Familiarity with CDSA service delivery and documentation requirements
• Comfort with electronic documentation and mobile scheduling workflows

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one speech therapy services
• Incorporate play-based, functional, and engaging interventions into therapy sessions
• Communicate regularly with caregivers and members of the child’s care team
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation aligned with payer and CDSA requirements, when applicable
• Coordinate scheduling and maintain continuity of care with families and the All About Therapy administrative team
