About The Position

Liberty POST is seeking Early Childhood Speech/Language Pathology Clinical Fellows to work with children from birth to age five through Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. Positions are available in Goshen, Wappinger, Sugar Loaf, and Ulster County, New York. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The Clinical Fellowship is a mentored transition period after completion of academic coursework and clinical practicum, preparing the fellow to become an independent provider of speech-language pathology clinical services. Liberty POST provides evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play, with a focus on children’s natural learning environments, family strengths and needs, and the diverse population served. The organization offers a collaborative team approach and has provided services since 1994. It employs more than 500 professionals and operates throughout New York State and Indiana. The position is available part-time and/or full-time. Compensation is listed by service duration and program: Early Intervention rates are $47–$50 for 30 minutes and $62–$65 for 60 minutes; CPSE rates are $35 for 30 minutes, $40 for 45 minutes, and $60 for 60 minutes.

Requirements

Actively pursuing New York State licensure in the clinical discipline.
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
