About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech Language Pathology Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year in the North Phoenix, AZ area. This is an in-person, part-time (2 days/week) position at a K-8 school site. We are seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting.
Requirements
- Arizona Speech Language Pathology Assistant License
- Active Fingerprint Clearance Card
Nice To Haves
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with speech therapy services in the school setting
- Assist with IEP goals and therapy plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
- Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
- Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
