About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Waldorf, MD , to help elementary students develop communication skills that support learning, relationships, and confidence throughout the school year. Implement individualized speech-language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students’ communication and academic needs. Provide direct therapy services and activities targeting speech, language, articulation, fluency, and functional communication skills. Collect and document student performance data, monitor progress toward therapy goals, and communicate updates with the supervising SLP. Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and families to reinforce speech-language strategies across classroom and school environments.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
• Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License/Credential

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school or pediatric setting preferred
