Speech Language Pathology Assistant / SLPA
About The Position
Wee Care Corp is hiring a Contract Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to deliver delegated speech-language services that align with individualized plans of care. This position supports consistent, measurable communication outcomes by implementing evidence-based interventions with professionalism, safety, and integrity. Wee Care has been serving families in our community and surrounding communities since April 2006. Our Foundation Wee Care offers Therapy Services and Home and Community-Based Services using evidence-based treatment models to help your loved one achieve and maintain the highest level of independence.
Requirements
- Licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services
- Valid ASHA SLPA certification or completion of an approved SLPA program
- Strong written and verbal communication for accurate clinical documentation
- Willingness to travel to clients’ homes and/or provide teletherapy
Responsibilities
- Providing direct therapy services under supervision
- Completing screenings per established procedures
- Documenting progress clearly and on time
- Preparing or modifying therapy activities to keep sessions organized and engaging
- Reviewing upcoming appointments and prior notes
- Setting up materials so each session begins smoothly
- Finalizing session records
- Tracking goal data
- Confirming next steps with the supervising team
