About The Position

Celebrations Speech Group is actively hiring a California-licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary and middle school students in San Jose, CA. This full-time, onsite role offers a defined weekday schedule, licensed SLP supervision, and clinical and operational support from the CSG team. Experienced and newly licensed SLPAs are encouraged to apply. At CSG, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed SLP, with clinical and operational guidance to support your day-to-day responsibilities. You’ll also have access to a materials budget for school-based staff, continuing education opportunities, and professional development resources.

Requirements

  • A current California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license.
  • An associate’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program, a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, or other qualifying education for California SLPA licensure.
  • Availability to work onsite in San Jose, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
  • Availability for a school-year assignment through June 2027.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • The ability to work independently within your assigned responsibilities and collaborate with your supervising SLP and school team.
  • A positive, adaptable approach to supporting students with diverse communication needs.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Implement treatment plans and support students’ IEP goals.
  • Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities that support student engagement.
  • Collect progress data and maintain accurate service logs and required documentation.
  • Assist with progress reports and documentation for IEP meetings.
  • Collaborate with your supervising SLP, teachers, special education staff, and school teams.
  • Communicate student progress and concerns to your supervising SLP.
