The company is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide individualized, in-home therapy for pediatric patients throughout San Antonio, Elgin to Bastrop. This role involves working under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to help children achieve developmental goals through effective and engaging therapeutic interventions. The position offers a flexible schedule, with part-time options ranging from 15 to 24 visits per week, tailored to the applicant's availability and lifestyle. Amazing Care provides hands-on training and ongoing support for both new graduates and experienced SLPAs, along with strong back-office support, no paperwork chasing, and caseloads built close to the employee's location.

Requirements

  • Licensed Speech Language Pathology Assistant in Texas.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
  • Ability to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for diverse patient needs.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work with children who have varying diagnoses and challenges.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pediatric home health or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
  • Support communication-based assessments and therapy activities.
  • Educate families on speech-language exercises and carryover techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and progress.
  • Participate in team meetings, progress reviews, and care planning.
  • Stay updated with current practices and compliance standards in pediatric speech therapy.
