About The Position
PAM Health is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide high-quality care to our diverse patient population. Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current SLP license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification required.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or as required by state regulations.
- SLP license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy in accordance with established clinical standards and best practices.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, strategies, and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of speech therapy services.
- Remain flexible and responsive to the needs of the hospital and the patients we serve.
