About The Position

Saco Bay PT is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our outpatient therapy team in Kennebunk, ME. Saco Bay Spurling is a unique location connected to a fitness center with CSW, massage therapists, a medical loan closet, and a non-profit memory support organization that works with families and individuals affected by Alzheimer’s. The clinic provides a variety of services for a diverse population including ortho, oncology/ReVital, and neuro services. The goal is to provide multi-disciplinary services to better support the whole patient.

Requirements

Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
State SLP licensure required.
ASHA certification is required.
300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.

Responsibilities

Provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with centers and patients.
Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services.
Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs.
Develop comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes and provide ongoing evaluation of their status and goals.
