Requirements
- Holds a current Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Has strong clinical and communication skills
- Enjoys working with older adults
- Is compassionate, patient, and team-oriented
- Wants to make a lasting difference in residents' lives
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Assess and manage dysphagia and safe swallowing techniques
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals
- Collaborate with residents, families, nursing staff, and therapy teams
- Help residents communicate, connect, and thrive
