About The Position
Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is hiring a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide exceptional home healthcare throughout the Pittsfield, MA area. As a Home Care Speech Language Pathologist, you'll provide individualized, evidence-based care in patients' homes. Every day is different, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with your patients while delivering high-quality, individualized care that helps them remain safely at home. VRNS is clinician-owned and clinician-focused, believing home healthcare should work for both patients and clinicians. Their work with the ABI Waiver Program provides clinicians with consistent scheduling while maintaining flexibility. Requirements
- Current Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience
- Afternoon availability

Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans
- Providing therapy for communication disorders and dysphagia management
- Conducting cognitive and functional communication training
- Educating patients and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and safety
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Completing accurate, timely electronic documentation
