About The Position
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality pediatric therapy services. In this role, you will help children reach their full communication potential while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for every patient.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current licensure/registration with appropriate governing body
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel locally
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical job duties as needed
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment for pediatric speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable patient goals
- Deliver therapy services and monitor patient progress
- Educate families and caregivers to support therapy outcomes at home
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation (evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in care planning meetings
- Advocate for patient care and coordinate appropriate referrals
- Stay current with best practices through continuing education
