About The Position

At Gracent Pediatric Therapy, we’re seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. You’ll provide personalized, in-clinic therapy through evaluations and individualized treatment plans designed to meet each child’s unique needs, including assessment and treatment for pediatric feeding and swallowing challenges. With 80% of our clients receiving multiple services, this is a truly collaborative, interdisciplinary setting—complete with opportunities for co-treats alongside Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, BCBAs, and Mental Health providers. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Illinois state license in good standing
  • Prior experience conducting assessments to identify the strengths and needs of each client
  • Unflappable patience and compassion
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or strong clinical interest in pediatric feeding and swallowing
  • Eagerness to grow skills in high-demand clinical areas such as AAC, feeding, and childhood apraxia of speech
  • Enjoy working in a supportive and diverse team of child specialists

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose communication and feeding disorders
  • Make appropriate cross-referrals to other disciplines
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for each client
  • Provide evidence-based therapy to support speech, language, social communication, and pediatric feeding/swallowing development.
  • Educate families, staff, and the community on AAC and other communication supports
  • Collaborate with doctors, teachers, and pediatric therapists for coordinated care
  • Keep detailed records of progress and adjust plans as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers to support safe feeding plans and whole-child development
