Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Valid Pennsylvania state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • At least two years of experience providing speech and language services to clients, preferably in a clinical setting, with experience in telehealth.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in navigating electronic medical record systems and other technology.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practice and commitment to staying up to date with the latest research and clinical practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based speech and language evaluations and therapy.
  • Determine and create appropriate treatment plans for new and existing patients through collaboration with other specialty providers.
  • Contribute to the development of cutting-edge, interdisciplinary care models and shape the future of behavioral and developmental healthcare.
  • Complete a set number (minimum 4 per week) of 90-minute evaluations (direct clinical service) with 30-minute documentation time (non-direct clinical service).
  • Identify candidates for short-term intensive SLP treatment programs and complete 30-minute treatment sessions.
  • Attend team meetings (Approximately 1 hour per week).
  • Maintain a clinical schedule including a combination of morning and evening evaluation times (8-10 am and 3-7 pm) and weekday/weekend availability. This position will focus on weekday evaluations after 3 pm EST, or weekend evaluations.
