About The Position

Innovate Rehab and Wellness is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team. With over 25 years of experience as a leading skilled healthcare provider, Innovate Rehab and Wellness is therapist- and veteran-owned, focusing on industry-leading, patient-centered care. They emphasize one-on-one care with less than 1% of group/concurrent treatments and offer realistic scheduling for a better work environment and outcomes. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders, addressing speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive-communication needs, and helping patients improve function and overall quality of life.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (accredited program)
• Valid state SLP license
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills
• CPR certification preferred

Nice To Haves

• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred
• Prior speech therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome)

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology
