Requirements

Current California SLP license and kept up to date.
At least one year of experience working with young children with developmental delays.
Clear background and driving record.
Current TB clearance, BLS certification, and any other required health and safety credentials (or willing to get them).

Responsibilities

Conduct speech and language evaluations for Early Start clients alongside expert clinicians (Occupational Therapists, BCBAs, etc.) to guide individualized intervention plans.
Provide consultation services tailored to each child’s needs, recommending strategies, communication supports, and meaningful goals in collaboration with Program Supervisors.
Deliver one-on-one speech and language therapy when needed, targeting vocabulary, sentence structure, articulation, social communication, and feeding/swallowing (when appropriate).
Accurately track hours, document progress, and submit reports on time.
