About The Position

Therapy Tree is seeking passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team. We work with families in their natural environments, coaching parents and caregivers with strategies to implement during routines. Requirements

CF-SLPs: Must be on track to earn a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
CCC-SLPs: Must hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCC-SLP certification, and be eligible for North Carolina licensure.
A passion for working with diverse socioeconomic populations.
The ability to implement therapy using a coaching model approach with parent education is critical to the success of therapy outcomes.
No toy bags are permitted when working with children in the CDSA.
Therapy Tree therapists should possess a desire to work with children and families.
Pediatrics is a field that requires compassion and commitment.
Ability to work independently, while appreciating the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team of therapists.
Having independent practitioners is critical to the success of our model.

Responsibilities

Adhere to professional standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
Implement therapy using a coaching model approach with parent education.
Work with families in their natural environments, coaching parents and caregivers with strategies to implement during routines.
Maintain promptness to all visits.
Communicate with all members of a child’s care team when there is a change in schedule.
