About The Position

Catapult Learning is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a summer school program. This part-time role involves providing intervention in articulation, language, and fluency. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess student needs, deliver high-quality speech and language therapy, and collaborate with school personnel and families. The goal is to help students reach their full potential and achieve academic success. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving students with special needs, believes all children can learn, and excels at building relationships and collaborating with a team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
Current MA DESE Specialist Teacher Certification in Speech/Language/Hearing Disorders and MA license in Speech-Language Pathology.
Meet all state and federal guidelines in order to be fully licensed.
Must understand that all children can learn.
Must demonstrate positive and enthusiastic attitude toward internal and external customers.
Must be flexible.
Must be available to work during the summer months.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a school setting is preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and identify student needs in the areas of articulation, language, and fluency.
Provide high-quality speech and language therapy.
Work closely with teachers, school personnel, and families to develop and implement intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs.
Offer consultation to parents and staff, serving as a resource on speech and language development.
Administer screening and diagnostic tests, interpret results, and generate detailed reports to inform instructional strategies.
Ensure all documentation and intervention plans adhere to policies outlined by Catapult Learning, the funding source, and partner schools.
