About The Position
Riverside Indian School (RIS) is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services one day per week during normal business hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday window). This role involves conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, providing therapy, and contributing to IEP development and meetings.
Requirements
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Knowledge of IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act)
- Knowledge of IEP development and special education compliance

- Experience working with Native American student populations
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations
- Interpret assessment results and develop treatment plans
- Provide speech therapy services to eligible students
- Develop and write IEP goals
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
- Prepare detailed written reports for the Special Education Coordinator
