Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Per Diem – Home Health. Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is a rapidly growing, clinician-owned company that truly understands the needs of home healthcare professionals. We are excited to expand our team and are hiring a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) due to our continued growth and increasing patient demand. Our growth means more opportunities for our clinicians to thrive, and we're looking for passionate professionals to join us in serving the Falmouth residential area of Massachusetts. Unlike traditional home healthcare agencies, we work with the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Waiver Program, providing ongoing, consistent patient scheduling while still offering the flexibility and autonomy of home health care.
Requirements
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Nice To Haves
- Home healthcare experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing impairments
- Assess communication and swallowing functions to ensure patient safety and provide necessary recommendations
- Provide patient and caregiver education to improve functional outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure high-quality patient care
