About The Position
Montello Care Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team. This is a PRN position at a non-profit skilled nursing facility in Montello, WI, known for its compassionate care and community focus. The role involves providing speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing therapy to residents, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, documenting progress, educating families and staff, and advocating for patients.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Wisconsin SLP license (or eligibility)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Passion for working with older adults

- CCC-SLP preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities
- Provide speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing therapy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and swallowing safety
- Advocate for your patients and help them find their voice—literally
