The Speech Language Pathologist will deliver Speech therapy services as mandated on student IEP’s in accordance with Illinois State Board of Education requirements. This role involves developing IEP goals, participating in IEP meetings, submitting progress reports, and maintaining records in accordance with Illinois and Federal Rules and Regulations. The position also requires operating clinical equipment, serving as a communication consultant, and providing direct/consult therapy minutes as required. Additionally, the role involves interacting with the school team, participating in training, completing progress/contact notes, communicating with parents/guardians, providing support and resources to classrooms, supervising interns/paraprofessionals/assistants, managing inventory of therapeutic equipment, and adhering to relevant legislation and policies.
