About The Position

The IMA Group is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language evaluations as part of our disability assessment services team. This part-time opportunity is ideal for SLPs who enjoy clinical assessments and report writing but want to step away from the demands of traditional therapy, treatment planning, and ongoing caseload management. This role offers a flexible schedule, working one day per week, and focuses on assessments with no therapy sessions, IEPs, treatment plans, or follow-up visits. It is an excellent supplemental opportunity for clinicians in private practice or other roles, allowing them to use their clinical expertise in a structured environment while enjoying flexibility and work-life balance.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active New York SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Review medical and developmental histories
  • Complete clear, objective assessment reports
  • Provide clinical findings to support disability evaluations
