About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of speech therapy techniques and be passionate about helping individuals improve their communication skills. This role has the potential to be clinic and/or school based work.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech-language pathology.
• Familiarity with early intervention strategies and patient care practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions, focusing on improving communication abilities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and the therapeutic process.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
