About The Position

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Kindred Hospital, LTACH Denver. This is an as-needed position. Lifepoint Rehabilitation is part of Lifepoint Health, a healthcare delivery network. The role involves assessing speech, language, and swallowing abilities, developing and implementing treatment plans, educating patients and families, documenting progress, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
