Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is now hiring a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide exceptional home healthcare throughout the Newton, MA area. Requirements

Current Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience
Afternoon availability

Previous home care experience
Monday–Friday availability

Responsibilities

Evaluating patients’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities
Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans
Providing therapy for communication disorders and dysphagia management
Conducting cognitive and functional communication training
Educating patients and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and safety
Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Completing accurate, timely electronic documentation
