About The Position

FOX Rehabilitation is hiring licensed Speech Language Pathologists to provide one-on-one care to older adults in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and surrounding communities. Care is delivered in private residences and senior living settings, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care, using FOX’s Geriatric House Calls™ model. Clinicians may also incorporate telehealth and other virtual care into their schedules. The role offers autonomy to create and manage a treatment schedule, build lasting patient relationships, and support patients’ mobility, independence, wellness, longevity, and quality of life. The work is supported by an interdisciplinary team and clinician-driven culture. Full-time, part-time, and PRN / FOX Flex employment pathways are available. Full-time roles are salaried with benefits; part-time roles are salaried with benefits eligibility based on a minimum-hours requirement; PRN / FOX Flex roles use pay-per-unit compensation. Compensation is based on experience and employment type. Requirements

Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state or states of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
Current CPR certification.
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC).
Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting, patient assistance and transfers, repositioning, extended standing and walking, and climbing stairs.
Ability to wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one Speech Language Pathology services to older adults in private residences and senior living communities, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
Provide therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
Document in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, and Fitness Specialists.
Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model.
Perform CPR and assist with patient transfers, bed mobility, repositioning, and therapeutic activities.
