The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing competent evaluation and treatment to inpatients and/or out-patients in compliance with LWRMC policies, standards and philosophy, JCAHO standards, and the ASHA Code of Ethics. The SLP will have the ability to provide interventions to individuals who experience a loss of and/or a deficiency in functional independence as related to communications and/or oral-motor functions. The therapist must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to problem solve and work effectively with patients, families, staff and physicians, ability to plan and organize and the ability to work independently and in teams. Other duties as assigned.
