About The Position
Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for Acute Care - Adults. This role involves assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs to improve speech, swallowing, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The position also includes providing age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers, and supervising and assuming responsibility for care provided.
Requirements
- Master's of Speech Pathology
- BLS
- VA License - SLP
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve speech, swallowing, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
- Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided.
