Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Home Health - PRN
About The Position
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in their homes under the care of an attending physician. Care settings may include single-family or multi-family homes, assisted living, independent living, and memory care. The SLP evaluates and treats patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders, and needs for alternative or augmentative communication. Patients may include people who have experienced a stroke or have progressive diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and dementia.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of employment.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Automobile liability insurance.
- Wear seat belts at all times while driving.
- Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
- Ability to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and provide skilled speech-language therapy in home-based care settings.
