About The Position

Deliver Speech-Language Pathology services to patients in accordance with speech-language therapy principles and Reliant Rehabilitation standards. Build positive relationships with clients and facility staff while providing high-quality care, including patient screening and evaluation, treatment-plan development and implementation, discharge planning, and case management. Maintain professional conduct, comply with applicable state and federal regulations, and provide care that meets clinical and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Master’s degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology.
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

Responsibilities

Improve patients’ communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct provision and oversight of speech therapy.
Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program.
Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education.
Maintain a valid state license and stay informed about developments in speech-language pathology and the healthcare environment.
Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards.
Deliver care aligned with treatment goals and aimed at meaningful outcomes.
Follow facility infection-control and environmental-safety protocols.
Communicate and document effectively in English.
Maintain confidentiality as appropriate and comply with the state practice act in the state(s) where licensed.
Provide patient screening and evaluation, develop and implement treatment plans, conduct discharge planning, and perform case management.
